Tamara Chase

Tamara is an attorney and group fitness instructor who has been leading group fitness in our community since 1984.  She is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer and in addition to working with private clients she currently instructs Spinning® and Body Pump®. Tamara graduated from the University of Vermont and Northeastern University School of Law and takes great pleasure in sharing her experience and love of fitness with all the wonderful people she has the pleasure of working with.

Emily Miner

Train for Life!  Time spent in the gym allows you to do all the things you love to do outside.  Whether you're new to exercise, looking for a more challenging program or need help achieving your fitness goals Emily has the plan for you.  Combining functional everyday movements with strength, cardio and core stability will give you the tools and knowledge to make exercise an enjoyable part of your life.  As a certified TRX training expert Emily will not only teach you the fundamentals of TRX, but how to incorporate a wide range of TRX strength, balance and flexibility exercises into your workouts.

Michele Butler

Experience in cardiac stress testing & cardiac rehab. Enjoys sport-specific programming, working on postural, flexibility, and post-rehab issues.  Plays competitive tennis, dabbles in snowboarding & gardening.

Kristen Ginsburg

After a thorough assessment, Kristen offers a personalized and holistic program to help her clients achieve their fitness goals. Kristen also teaches spinning, strength training and weight management classes. She enjoys skiing, biking, yoga, gardening and cooking.

Megan enjoys working with people to establish fitness goals and offer support to achieve them.  As a group fitness instructor and Head Field Hockey Coach at Middlebury Union High School, she is passionate about promoting an active and healthy lifestyle for people of all ages. She will work with her clients to establish the ideal training program for success and adapt those programs as clients progress over time.  Megan enjoys being a part of the Middlebury Fitness community and will work hard to encourage members to practice a healthy and happy lifestyle through exercise.

Jay Croswell

Jay is a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Tawkwondo and Muay Thai.  His professional interests are in sport-oriented fitness programs and training, conditioning, functional training, injury prevention and rehabilitation.  A martial arts instructor and former middle school teacher, Jay merges experience in learning theory with his love of movement to meet clients where they are and support their fitness goals.  Jay's training philosophy is influenced by holistic approaches to well-being and he seeks to help clients integrate lifestyle choices that support the work they do inside and outside the gym.  His professional goal is admission to Physical Therapy school for completion of a doctorate.

Elijah Paradee

Elijah is a keen practitioner of the art of free weights.  Developing proper form, as well as following appropriate progression allows individuals to realize their fitness goals.  Having completed Army Basic Training and the Department of Defense’s Fire Academy, Elijah possesses an intimate knowledge of fitness testing, as well as military/ emergency service fitness demands.  With an education at Castleton State College in Exercise Science he possesses a wide range of fitness knowledge, and is eager to help you on your fitness journey.
